Blixwerk

Social Media Posting Schedule Generator

It's Sunday evening and you promised yourself this would be the month you finally post consistently. Instagram, LinkedIn, maybe TikTok too, but every time you open the app you wonder what should go out today and whether you already posted twice this week. Instead of deciding day by day, set the rhythm once. Choose your platforms, say how often you want to post, and get a clear calendar of dates you can paste into a spreadsheet or planner.

Posting dates by week and platform (Monday–Friday)

This is a planning aid with estimates only. It does not replace a tax professional or accountant. Posts are spread evenly over Monday to Friday, starting from your start date; adjust to your audience's habits.

FAQ

How does the generator spread posts over the week?

For each week it takes the five weekdays (Monday to Friday) within the seven days that start on your start date, then spaces your posts as evenly as possible across them. One post a week lands midweek, two land on Tuesday and Thursday, five fill every weekday. With more than five posts, some days get two.

What if my start date is not a Monday?

That works. Each planning week simply runs seven days from your start date, and the weekdays inside that window are used. Week 1 may therefore begin on a Thursday, for example, and the table shows the first date of every week so you can see it.

How many posts per week should I plan?

There is no single right number. A pace you can keep up for months beats an ambitious one you drop after two weeks. Start with what fits your real capacity, such as two or three posts per platform, and adjust once you see how much time it takes.

How do I get the schedule into a spreadsheet?

Press Copy as CSV, open Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers and paste. If everything lands in one column, use the split-text-to-columns option with a comma as separator. The columns are Platform, Week, Date (YYYY-MM-DD) and Weekday.

Does it pick the best time of day to post?

No. It only plans dates. The best time depends on your audience and platform, so check your own analytics and add the times in your spreadsheet or scheduling tool.

Are weekends included?

Not by default; the generator uses Monday to Friday only. If you want weekend posts, move individual rows by hand in the CSV after copying it.
